Sublimation

I use the Sawgrass 500 printer with the Sulbi  inks.  I started with the Sawgrass 400, which I still use at my work.  There are many others that can be purchased and used.  I have even seen where people have taken a a more basic inkjet printer and have purchased sublimation ink cartridges for it.  

The biggest draw back about this, is that you SHOULD NOT switch the printer from a sublimation printer to a regular printer.  The inks are very different and you don't want them to get mixed together.  This would make the printer basically useless.

This machine also has a bypass cartridge that will allow you print on much long pieces of sublimation paper.  I do not have this attachment.  Should I end up getting it, I will post about it.

I purchase the heat press bundle from Swing Design.  The bundle has the 15x15 heat press, a mug press with several different clamps.  A plate press, which I haven't used yet. A hat press, that I haven't used yet, as well.

This heat press has been a good work horse for all of the t-shirts, pillow cases, mugs, etc.  It heats quickly and switching between presses is straight forward.  

I will, eventually, be looking to upgrade the whole thing.  I am looking at the Heat Press Nation presses.  They offer standard, mug, and hat presses that are all stand alone.  Each press does come in different sizes, depending on your needs.

Swing Design and Heat Press Nation offer different bundles.  Some include a sublimation printer, paper, even different items to sublimate on.
